Dress Up Days

Kayla is in a MAJOR dress-up phase. She will absolutely not wear anything "normal" at this point. Her mix-and match mermaid/fairy princess outfit today was quite adorable.

(No worries, she didn't get to keep that necklace for long)

Hearts

Lydia LOVES hearts. She taught herself how to draw them when she was like 3 and has been putting them on everything ever since. She was especially proud of her heart-shaped pretzel.

Puzzle Fun

New Year's Day is a day to just hang out and stay in your pajamas right? Maybe it's just me, but that's my idea of a holiday.

Talia is always down for staying in her pajamas all day.

She LOVES her new Anna and Elsa nightgown :)

And she was making me laugh and laugh the way she was mixing the puzzle pieces up all crazy on purpose. Her laugh is contagious.

New Year's Eve

I think it's safe to say that Julia is a night-owl like her Mama :)

Daddy made the birthday girl her very own leaf pile to jump in to her hearts content.

(We always seem to be raking up leaves around her birthday. . .)

I can NOT believe my baby girl is already 7.

She is SO excited to be 7 and she had an amazing day. Her friend Jaycee and her mom and aunt took Lydia out for a day of fun. They went to the mall and some clothing stores, they stopped and ate lunch, they bought make-up. . . it was exactly what she wanted and she came home acting 17 instead of 7 :)

My girl has the best friends on earth. Her friend, Jaycee, called her up this morning and invited her to go out shopping and eating and to just have some fun together on her birthday and Lydia loved every minute of it. It was the perfect gift for them to give her, she loves hanging with friends!
